Dr Nigel Thomas and Bonnie

Nigel has been working as a Veterinarian for 15 years, he commenced work at P.R.A.H. in May 2000.

Nigel and his wife Kate later became the proud owners of the practice here at Park Ridge Animal Hospital.

Nigel sees his role here at P.R.A.H. as providing clients with quality veterinary care in a friendly, caring environment.

Nicole has been a Veterinarian since December 2003 and working at P.R.A.H. since January 2004.

As well as her role as a Veterinarian, Nicole is involved in our Pet PEP School visits.

Dr Simon Wake and Gus

Simon has been a Veterinarian for 10 years, he commenced work at P.R.A.H. in May 2006.

Prior to working at P.R.A.H., Simon was working as a Veterinarian in England. As well as general veterinary duties, Simon is responsible for maintaining the Controlled Drugs Register for the Hospital.

DEANNE CAMPBELL
Enrolled Veterinary Nurse


Deanne has been a Veterinary Nurse for 13 years, working at P.R.A.H. since October 2003. Deanne runs our Puppy Pre School classes.

Deanne has been a breeder of Boxers and Schnauzers for many years and has a menagerie of horses, dogs and cats to keep her busy, as well as a young daughter.

Kirsten Newcombe and Sasha

Kirsten has been a Veterinary Nurse for 11 years, working at P.R.A.H. for 5 years.

Kirsten runs our Puppy Pre School classes, she is kept busy in her free time looking after her pets and her young son.

Debbie has been working at P.R.A.H. since May 2006.

Debbie's role involves assisting the nurses and veterinarians in their duties, as well as lots of study to qualify as a Veterinary Nurse.

Alisha has been working part time at P.R.A.H. since 2003. 

Alisha's work at the P.R.A.H. includes our hydrobath service and generally helping the vets and nurses.

Joanne has been working at P.R.A.H. since October 2005, her career includes Administration and Personal Assistant roles.

Joannes duties at P.R.A.H. include reception, website updates, desktop publishing and enjoying the contact with our clients and their pets.

Sherry Jewell and Chase

Sherry has been working at P.R.A.H. since October 2007 She is our evening and weekend receptionist. Sherry's previous experience is in Doctors offices and pathologists.

Away from work, Sherry is very involved in breeding and showing Golden Retreivers.

Wendy has been a Veterinarian for 7 years and has been working at P.R.A.H. for 3 years.

Wendy’s role at P.R.A.H. includes all areas of Orthopedic and Soft Tissue surgery as well as general consulting and medical cases.

Desrae has been working in this profession for 22 years.

Desrae's role as Hospital Co-ordinator encompasses professional nursing, training and learning support for the nursing team, promotional activities for the hospital as well as implementing systems, policies and procedures.

Tracy has been working at P.R.A.H. since August 2004 and has been a vet nurse for 8 years. Working in Ireland for 10 months during 2002.

Tracy has a large collection of animals including birds, horses, dogs and cats to keep her busy as well as a young son.

Lauren has been a Veterinary Nurse for 7 years, all of them at P.R.A.H.

Aside from general nursing duties, Lauren is also responsible for Stock Control along with Wendy.

Jane has been a Veterinarian for 16 years and working at P.R.A.H. for 2 years.

Jane's years as a veterinarian include a combination of 14 years in clinical practice and 2 years in Veterinary Pathology. 

Jane spent 6 years workings as a Veterinarian in England.

Kate first started working at PRAH in 1993, she completed her Veterinary Nursing course, married and left to have a family, she returned to PRAH in 2007.

Kate is a busy working wife and mum to three beautiful girls.

NIKKI LENIHAN
Trainee Veterinary Nurse,  

 

Nikki Lenihan and Flynn

 Nikki commenced at Park Ridge in March 2008. Nikki has a Certificate 11 in Animal Studies and is currently in her 2nd year of Certificate 1V in Veterinary Nursing.

Nikki's role is to nurse the sick patients in hospital.

Keira-Lee commenced work in 2007 after completing her school Work Experience week with PRAH.

She is completing her schooling whilst training several days per week at the hospital.
