Park Ridge Animal Hospital supports a number of programs and organizations in the local community with the aim to promote responsible pet ownership and enhance the human animal bond. We believe that this involvement enhances the welfare of animals in our community.
Over time, we have established strong relationships with the RSPCA, Logan City Council, local businesses (pet shops, dog obedience clubs, local RSL etc), primary and secondary schools and wildlife care groups.

AVA PetPEP Program
Park Ridge Animal Hospital visits approximately ten local primary schools per year to help educate students about responsible pet ownership.
Fetes - donations, raffle prizes, sponsorship of farm animals etc.
Work Experience students from local high schools - approx 17 each year.
Community representative on several subject review panels.
Local Media
Regular articles on animal care in local media.
Wildlife Carers
Park Ridge Animal Hospital has earned a reputation amongst local wildlife carers/organisations as being a practice that willingly provides compassionate and appropriate treatment of injured wildlife. This has enabled strong relationships to develop between carers and the staff at the practice. Park Ridge Animal Hospital offers care to all wildlife at no charge.

RSPCA
Santa Paws Photos - held in early December each year. Donation of prizes and Santa.
Sponsorship of RSPCA EMU (Education mobile unit) to attend local community fete attended by 5000 people.
Delta Dog Program
Sponsorship of two Delta Dogs that are involved in visits to hospital and aged care facilities. This involves a financial contribution as well as free veterinary checks and pathology collection.

Queensland Lure Coursing Club - Attending vet at annual Cook Cup event
Lowchen Dog Day in Park - Official Judge of cuddliest dog competition and donation of prizes
Canteen Bandana Fundraiser - All pets receive a bandana to raise money for the Queensland Cancer Fund
Make a Wish Foundation - Donation of services for local wish recipient
